The ragings of starvation…
None of us, even in our wildest dreams, have experienced total starvation. Atleast, not when you were four years old!
A child, four years old, dragging himself for a morsel of food.
Death, the inevitable, grasps him.
The photographer Kevin Carter killed himself after this incident. Why? Why can’t he just have given the baby some food? A piece of bread? A drop of water? The baby would have been saved… Did he think of it at that time? Did he think that he would lose his Pulitzer award?
I hope that none of you are like Mr Kevin Carter… Save the starving … Restore the humanliness. Save a life… Live, and make live…

Live, and let live
Tragic: Man killed when dog crashes through windshield
A 70-pound black Labrador retriever, apparently chased by children
trying to return it to its backyard, jumped off an overpass and landed
on the windshield of a 1994 Ford Thunderbird, police say. Charles
Jetchick, 81, the driver, died Wednesday of injuries sustained in the
accident. The dog died instantly.
Thus reported The Detroit News on the 20th of January. Its just another example of how Man mistreats his fellow beings with unaccountable cruelty. I can’t help but comment on Man’s arrogance, on being the superior being in Earth, while he is just a storehouse of evil ideas. Man’s manevolence angers people, but still, do they protest?
This is why ladies and gentlemen, I say, join a animal friendly group
like SPCA, PETA and so on… And as for the above news, may God be with you dear dead soul, and may God prevent you from more childish abuses, dear dog…
Peace Quotes
Hey all,
Some quotes about Peace to ponder over… A few of them describes our movement too
If the human race wishes to have a prolonged and indefinite period of material prosperity, they have only got to behave in a peaceful and helpful way toward one another.
~ Winston Churchill
I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.
~ Mohandas K. Gandhi
The best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend.
~ Abraham Lincoln
There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.
~ A.J. Muste.
Peace, like charity, begins at home.
~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
There must be, not a balance of power, but a community of power; not organized rivalries, but an organized peace.
~ Woodrow Wilson.
Spirits of war recognized, its now time, for the flavors of Peace
~ Neo Garfield
Thus ends, the quotes for peace and nonviolence, invocating in you and me, a little something called emotion, which, we can hope, will lead to unviversal peace and brotherhood…:) Keep your fingers crossed ladies and gentlemen!

Poem : A seed left, planted by AB
Hey all,
Heres a beautiful poem submitted by one of my regular readers nicknamed Angery Butterfly. It felt very soothing, and tragic all the same
A Seed Left Planted by AB
When I go back, and view, my life,
I hope that it will read,
like this poem I leave behind,
Like a musterd seed,This person loved to live,
And lived to love and pray,
She dreamed of peace for everyone,
And of a better day,Were wars were never waged,
And Mothers never cried,
Were babys didn’t starve to death,
In hunger left to die,Were brothers didn’t kill, there brothers,
And never beat there wives,
Were people found simple ways,
To fufill and love there lives,Were all the creatures had respect,
Each found there place on earth,
Were children grew to love themselfs,
Knowing of there worth,And if I died tommarrow,
I hope someone would say,
She shared her dreams with others,
And helped me find my way.
Hope you enjoyed that one folks! I sure did! Special thanks to Angery Butterfly
Adios Amigos until the next post!

The joys of sorrow…
"Participate joyfully in the sorrows of the world.
We cannot cure the world of sorrows,
but we can choose to live in joy." - Joseph Campbell

One of the greatest paradoxes of all times. "The Joys of Sorrow!" How can sorrow be joyful? If it was joyful, it would never have been named sorrow!
I know, Im confusing you. But sorrow is joyful too…
Consider life as a Piano… The white keys as happy moments… The black keys as unhappy ones… But remember, the black keys produce music too!
Life would be beautiful without sorrow. But, if so, we lose the excitement of each emotional upheal. So dear peace lover, enjoy your life, take sorrowful moments in the stride, forget all worries, be happy, support a peaceful world… One last word, remember what Sree Krishna said to Arjuna :
Whatever that happened, is for the good…
Whatever is happening is also for the good…
And whatever is to happen, will also be for the good…

The spirit of goodwill : Happy Birthday
Hello everyone,
I was thinking of a general gesture of goodwill between two friends by saying a "Happy Birthday". Whats this wishing all about? Is it about wishing the person a happy birthday, or is it about remembering that person, and wishing him a happy birthday? Confused?
Well, imagine its your birthday. A friend calls you early in the morning and yells "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!:D" Naturally you feel very good. You feel an unbounded sense of goodwill towards that friend… Something that enforces eternal peace between you two… Now thats how real friendship should work…
Well, imagine its your birthday again. You call a friend by around evening to ask about a homework. And THATS when he/she remembers about your birthday, and he/she wished you "Happy Birthday!". Well, not bad, but still not that great a friend, to wish you a happy birthday when YOU called him or her.
Imagine its your birthday. Again same scenario as the one before. You call your friend. Still he doesnt wish you a happy birthday. He has forgotten all about your birthday. You go on blabbering until you come to the point that its your birthday. THEN he wishes you a happy birthday. Thats just forms sake! Ladies and Gentlemen, please recognize a flatterer at this point!
And the last case scenario. You call your friend. You tell its your birthday. And still she goes on blabbering about herself. Ok fine… Here what you should do - First, get a few GOOD STRONG swear words and throw it at her! Slam down the phone reciever and never call her again. Ladies and Gentlemen, please please please recognize a damn foe here! Well, cheer up, it could be worse…
By now you must be thinking why Im blabbering about all this idiotic stuff in a peace forum… Well, wishing a person a Happy Birthday is a sure way of promoting communal goodwill. And only with communal goodwill, can we attain world peace!
So everyone, please remember to wish everyone you know a happy birthday. And please dont be like the last case scenario mentioned above!
Ta ta.. Toodle…
