The point of view
Hey all,
I don’t know if I have discussed this with you earlier, but here’s another thing that will help you gain a step more towards brotherhood, and a peaceful life.
There’s this story about a frog. I know, you’re not a child to listen to such silly stories, but once you see into it, you will understand that the story, meant as a moral story for children, can be held as a example for our topic of discussion today
.
So, here’s Mr Frog living in a small well. He was happy and contended with his surroundings, and habitat, that he never wanted to venture out of his cozy home. And one eventful day, another frog, say Mr Frogitta, jumped into the well. Frogitta was from a pond, and he told all about the pond, and the world beyond, to Mr Frog.
But Mr Frog refused to believe all that. He kept on saying that there was nothing larger than his well, and Frogitta was lying because he was jealous. Frogitta knew a lost case when he saw one, so he immediately left the pond…
Thats the story
Learnt something from it? No? Yeesh! Maybe I should do a Mr Frogitta and leave a lost case
. But because of my more “benevolent and patient” nature, I’m staying here until I explain it to you

The general meaning the story author had to convey was “Don’t be a pig and think all about yourself! Think about others too, and from their point of view…”
Uh. No Mr Donkey, we will make an exception in your case
. Well, back to the message… Noooo! Don’t click the close button! I wasn’t calling you a donkey! Look at the PICTURE!!!

So anyway, before you do something, which might directly or indirectly affect others, thing about it. Not just in your angle, but in a 3rd person angle, and in an angle from the affected person.
For example, imagine you went to a friend’s house just before lunchtime. And your friend invites you for lunch. From your point of view, “Cool man! I don’t have to cook anything today, and I can enjoy a scrumptous meal!”. But what about from a 3rd person angle? “Man! Just check out that lazy poke! Sitting there and making his friend drill over in making him food!”. And from your friend’s angle? “Sheesh! I thought that idiot would help me make lunch. Ah well. No matter, this might be a time to strengthen our friendship.” That is, if he is a good friend

So there you are… What would have been the best scenario? You accept his invitation, but help him with the work.
Thus, ladies and gentlemen, think out of the box. Don’t confine your feelings to your own. Take a moment to analyze what the effect of your action would be, and how the affectee would think about your actions…
So don’t just stand there! Go ahead and apply your new thoughts. Make your mind a multi step computer, computiing to answer the probable thoughts of all around you! Go ahead, and all the best![]()
There you are people… Think beyond the box… Optimize your point of view… Analyze your friend’s point of view…. And compute a 3rd person’s point of view…
And I confusing you? Hey! That rhymes! view, view, view, you
No, I havn’t gone mad….
Goodbye for now

Koi Pond: Digital Masterpieces- Virtual Water Features Part I
One of the most challenging aspects of designing ponds and waterfalls is trying to convey my ideas to my client. Coming up with award-winning pond designs or implementing them using adequate skills and experience is not a problem.
