Working in the UK…. Info for those who care…
Hey all,
Few of my overseas cousins asked me to do a blog on working in the UK. Not very difficult, since I had plenty of information I gained from them, and there were plenty of websites on the internet. But I had a tough time finding out the best, which provided the most accurate information etc etc etc.
Anyway… UK is a beautiful place. Plenty to see. Plenty to experience. Plenty of jobs. Plenty of pay.
Whats the catch? Plenty of cost of living too
Well, the site I told you about earlier is of an international recruitment agency that has offices all over the world. Michael Page. They offer all sorts of services like information on salary surverys, CV writing, interview tips and techniques, Visas etc.
http://www.michaelpage-recruitment.com/Working-in-the-UK/ This page offers much information about living, and working in the UK. It includes information on travelling, starting up a bank account, cultures, cost of living, driving, food etc.
An excerpt from the site

- top end meal for two (without drinks) £60 upwards
- pint of beer £3

Heh heh… Thats what I call hefty!
Anyway, thats all for now about living and working in the UK… Adios for now
