About independence, and approach to the world
Hello all,
On the 15th of August, in 1947, India became an Independent nation. On 15th August, every year, we Indians celebrate Independence Day. And on 26th January, we celebrate Republic Day.

But why is independence really so important? Why is it so important that we have a separate day dedicated for it?
I’ll tell you why. Independence is on of the basic instincts of life. Humans, and every other living organism on Earth has a tendency to break free of its bonds, and wander into the free world. This is one of the main reasons for evolution. This is one of the main reasons why life exists today!

Man, similarly, is addicted to independence. We want to be independent and do things ourselves. We detest being caged up. Imagine yourself in a situation where you are forced to do what another person wants you to do! Horrible right?
We have our own rights to this world. Our right of free speech, expression, right to portray our views, right to land, right to live, right to eat and so on… Imagine a condition where you were denied all these rights!
Unimaginable!

Exactly why we need to be independant! But we, humans, have misused our freedom to an extremely large account! We denied other creatures freedom! We denied other animals and plants, their rights. We cut down plants, hunted animals, destroyed rainforests, shattered habitats, drove animals to extinction, and in all ways tried to disturb the natural equilibrium! WE HAVE DENIED THE WORLD OF OUR SO CALLED “HUMANELY” APPROACH!

I don’t believe that we can save the world. That’s because we can’t destroy it either! Our world has been facing the thick and think for the last 3.7 billion years, and it’ll take more than a puny population of overambitious and arrogant species to destroy the world, the natural equilibrium, or life. But we CAN destroy, or SAVE the human species from extinction.

Think about it. Animals can evolve! Its humans that cannot do much of the adapting game. We are so sensitive, so un-rough, so unadaptive! A temperature change of a mere 10-20 degrees centigrade could kill us! But animals and plants, they evolve just fine! We keep babbling about all this global warming and stuff. Many environmentalists seeking fame go ahead with “SAVE THE WORLD!” campaigns! Absolute absurdity is what I call it! What we need is “SAVE OUR SPECIES” campaign!

We need to save our human race! We need to protect ourself from extinction! We need to act now, before its too late! Denying other organisms freedom is the fastest way to bring about our own extinction! Lets stop hurting other creatures. Lets stop cutting down rainforests! Lets stop reclaiming sea land. Lets stop hunting the poor animals. Lets stop destroying habitats! Lets enjoy our own independence without hampering the independence of the other organisms! Lets save our species before we’re too late! Lets join hands…
Do… Pray… Hope…
