PPP Segmentation shoot up Bloggers revenue scheme

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Last month, PayPerPost, the online firm which focuses on blog marketing, released their Version 3 BETA. It featured a brand new innovative system, which had been in the works for over a year. Named “Segmentation”, it allowed advertisers to CHOOSE their requirement of bloggers while sumbitting an oppurtunity.

Now, bloggers taking up post oppurtunities are subjected to a filter, including parameters like Age, Sex, Location, Page Rank, Alexa Rating, Tack Score(this is the rating given to bloggers by advertisers), Disclosure and a few others, as specified by advertisers.

And whats the benefit? For advertisers, Segmentation brought in tools to select the bloggers they wanted, thus giving their product a highly specific way of advertising. For bloggers, it brought about a revolution, such that a blogger could earn up to $1000 for a single post!!!! Yes, I, as a PPP Postie, have been eyeing all those high high high paying opps! I saw Opps which were worth $1000, $123, $80, $60 and so on and so forth, but I couldn’t take any of them since my blog did not satisfy the conditions required due to a small problem from my side (specified the wrong URL to PPP :D ). Anyway, before I used to see Opps in the ranges of $4 - $7 at an average. Now, almost every post is worth more than $12…

Thus, its a dual benifit system, benefitting bloggers AND advertisers. Oops, did I say dual? I mean threefold… Benifitting bloggers, advertisers AND PayPerPost ;) From the advertiser point of view, did you know that PPP only charges 35% service fee? Other competitors, like ReviewMe, charge 100%! Thus, PPP is also effectively increasing the amount of money a blogger can earn, and also making it easy for start up companies to afford Consumer Generated Advertising.

Thus, in short, and sweet words, PPP ROCKS!!!! :D :D :D Adios until next time :)

Ahoy! PayPerPost to acquire Performancing!

Hello all,
Shocking news just in! PayPerPost (PPP), the website which lets me, and a million others, get paid to blog, is going to acquire Performancing - the online blogging community, whose free products include Performancing Metrics, Performancing Community, Performancing FireFox(Firefox blogging toolbar), Performancing Partners and Performancing Exchange.

I’ve been using most of the Performancing features for over 8 months now, to run BlogForPeace. The Performancing FireFox extension is a special favourite of mine :) But it seems like PPP isnt acquiring the plugin as such. The plugin is going to be spun off under a different brand.

I’ve also been using Peformancing Partners, but it was my tough luck, that I didn’t get any sponsors!

I’ve used Performancing Exchange in the past, and I’ve found it to be quite effective. Very useful in getting readers to your blog. And I mean true, genuinely interested readers. It was quite a good move by PPP to acquire this feature.

Aaaaand Performancing Metrics. The cool service which counted your visitors, no. of blog post reads, no. of comments etc etc etc. Another favourite of mine, and acquired by PPP…

See the news at - http://blog.payperpost.com/2006/12/payperpost-acquires-performancingcom.html

See the TechCrunch blog at - http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/12/27/payperpost-in-the-news-again/

I think that these acquisitions will help PPP soar to greater heights. I’m not very sure about the features though. I would have preferred if all the features were still under one name, under the same management. I wish PPP had acquired the whole of the Performancing network, and crew :) Unfortunately, this hasn’t happened, and isnt likely to happen, so I resign myself to praying for the best…

This post was brought to you by PayPerPost… But that hasn’t in any way affected my views, or comments.

As I’m typing this post from Performancing FireFox, I hope to see  better results coming out of the Performancing community and network. Meanwhile, PayPerPost is yet again basking in the glory of its triumph! So much is happening over what was to be a dull vacation…

PPP Postie Patrol V2 - The PPPman returns…

Ladies and gentlemen…
We bring you, we proudly present, THE PAYPERPOST POSTIE PATROL 2!!!

I didnt catch the name of the Postie, but see if you can, from the video posted above :) But for all those lazy to click the button, heres a blow by blow review :)

PPP had introduced the Postie Patrol a couple of weeks back. But this is the first time they used their Blue Monster for it :) A group of them, including Ted, Veronique, and a couple of others whom I didnt recognize, jumped out of the PPP HQ, shouting, howling etc - the works. I guess the pent up tensions got them crazy :P
They get into the Blue Monster, hollywood style, and visits this guy, and offers him 3 challenges. Did I say that Ted was wearing a Viking hat with blonde pigtails? :P Anyway, this guy accepts the Pizza challenge with Ted. Rules of the game - 2 giant pizzas. One for postie. One for Ted. The person who finishes first wins. $400 as stakes :) Yep. Ted went for it along with this guy.

Pretty exciting scenes where Ted tries to gobble up a lot of pizza to save his $400 :P But unfortunately, he throws up. In a hurried ceremony, he gives the postie his $400, and quietly disappears from the scene, but the camcorder guy/gal caught Ted… He went to a nearby tree, and used it with all his liesure to throw up… The poor guy :( Anyway, he promises that this will be the end of eating challenges for Postie Patrols… :D
So thats a gist of the Patrol 2. Stay tuned for more… :) By the way, dont forget to see the video… Toodles for now :)

Absurdity vs Absurdity - who is absurd and who is not??

Hi again all…
TechCrunch takes on PayPerPost again! I wonder what TechCrunch has, against paid blogging!

Well, PPP had released DisclosurePolicy.com today. TechCrunch thus claims this positive move to be “officially absurd”! They refer to Consumer Generated Advertizing as a virus…

Interesting how people’s minds work! As Shakespeare truly said, “to each his own….

But ofcourse, we PPP bloggers are using a different quote… “to kill or not to kill…

What TechCrunch has posted, as usual, lacks the amount of points required to really convince a user. Rather, they are giving silently, methods and ways by which a user silently moves over to supporting PPP. They are hanging onto rather precarious points, like a lost stallion in a strong debate.

My opinion about DP is that its a pretty good move to ensure that bloggers stay credible. In fact, it increases trust, and popularity.

Its easy for Arrington to comment like this, when he’s paid a six figure income monthly to blog… We are bloggers who represnt the blogging community. I myself - I want to cover up my hosting charges, and the rest, it goes to charity… I dont think thats such a bad thing to be paid for. I have identified local charities, whom I pay according to the BlogForPeace website moto - “towards peace, and towards charity, ahoy!”

I have to round up my post here, as time calls, and time is money… But ladies and gentlemen, a real feast coming up, in my next post :) Pip pip….

Tamale Confesses… She does look stressed out :)

Hey all,
Grabbed this one from the PayPerPost blog… Was a little late to catch up on it though….

PayPerPost is an organization which pays people to blog… Ofcourse, you might have guessed by now that I get paid to blog by PPP - I have to cover my hosting costs, and the rest goes to charity :)
So anyway, Ted, the CEO of PPP has been encouraging his team members to blow off their steam via video confessionals, ‘coz PPP, although fun, is sometimes a high stress environment… Flaming Tamale, aka Veronique, was the first to take it…

I’m embedding the video here, but before that, I would like to comment of Veronique… Veronique and I had quite a thing going… No! NOT THAT YOU PERVERT! Well its like this, I had my age mentioned here as “16″, and she thought that I was actually only 16… I told her that it was my WRITING soul which was 16, and she got all confused up about was I 16 or not… We cleared it all up now :)
By the way, Veronique did this confession after my mail to her… Something tells me Neo Garfield had something to do with this confession :P
    Soooo, the video…

Thats all for now dear PPP hats :) Ta ta until next time :)

Steady income @ PPP - I get paid, do you?

Hey all,
This is a story about my life… More than a month ago, I came across a site… A site which claimed to pay bloggers for blogging… A site named PayPerPost! A likely story, I thought… I signed up… In 48 hours I got the rejectal mail telling me that our-of-US bloggers weren’t allowed.

They asked me to sign up two weeks later… So I did… And then, even with my tough schedule, even by posting only the minimal, even with only 1 blog, I’ve made more than $220 through PayPerPost!!! And of this, almost $75 has been already creditted to my PayPal account. Its the first time my PayPal is seeing some light!!!

Yep… Half of you is already saying that I’m a downright lier… Well, heads up, because I’m going to post photographic evidence to my earnings.

So? What do you say now dear reader? I found out about PayPerPost via Google. And you know what? I’m saving up for a new laptop from eBay :) Well, I hope that you’ve got a pretty good idea of the amount you could earn via PayPerPost! Best of luck! Cheerio!

OH MY GOD! Postie Patrol! Its so darn hilarious!!!

Ladies and gentlemen…
In a daring new move, PayPerPost, or we refer to it as PPP, has introduced a programme called Postie Patrol! They wander over to random postie houses with a pumkin in their hands ;) They give you 3 options for a game… Drink up, Cook up ooorrrrr Scavenger Hunt… :) And you win big… $100, $200 or $400!!!

The first postie patrol, Postie Patrol 1, was done with Victor… He took the surprise cool enough! He opted for the big one… 400$… He had quite a time finding 2 things on the list - a can of shaving cream and a musical instrument.. Brainy as he is, he flipped open his laptop, like a loyal Googlatic, opened up Google Image search, searched for something, and then propped up his laptop - with the maximised image of a saxophone(couldn’t he have just got a whistle or even a radio :P )!!!

Pictures of the event, captured by BlogForPeace right out from the video -

Victor’s Pumpkin - they put a sticker of PPP on it… Aaaaawwwwwwww!

Ted explaining the works of the game to Victor, while he coolly plays with his pumpkin, and his wife watches on anxiously!

You HAVE to see the video, ‘coz its downright hilarious and unbelievable! I love it! I love payperpost! I love everyone! Lol… I’m getting hysterical :P

No, I wont tell you how Victor fared… Find that yourself by clicking on the link above :P Its all on UTube :) Meanwhile, enjoy!

I think that its a brilliant scheme by PPP! They say its to reach out to the existing posties! It reaches out allright! :) Its brilliant!!! Adios for now… More on PPP, peace and the blue monster coming up next… [hold tight for Dan’s puzzle piece, and Dan’s secret puzzle piece - one which he announced about ONLY in BlogForPeace!]
